We learn from past experiences and are therefore capable of percieving our surroundings. Because of our knowledge we seem to be able of understanding most of what we see.

One of the things we learn is to analyse light and shadow in order to understand depth. Reflections tell us about shape and clearness tell the distance between objects.

Looking at Focus all your knowledes of depth seems to have vanished. Too many reflections give you the feeling of looking at "nothing" - you cannot presicely focus on what is in front of you.

We tend to forget the role we play ouselves perceiving everything - that we have to enterprete things in oder to make sence out of them. "Focus" puts you in focus.
