Cracked Series
Working with my own desire to be perfect and my fear of making mistakes, I have examined glass in order to find out whether a flaw can be used in a positive way instead of being discarded as a mistake. I have exposed glass to extreme shifts in temperature which causes it to crack and therefore becomes something we would normally consider broken. Enhancing these cracks using light they become an aesthetic element that no longer resemble a mistake. Embracing a flaw instead of hiding it can sometimes be even better than holding on to our perfectionism.
