3 day performance with latex

Returning after 10 years to the area where I grew up, I no longer see the town the way I used to. It is not that things have changed physically, but somehow things do not look the same. All my experiences in adult life have piled up and I can no longer look at anything without perceiving it through these layers.

For an art festival in Denmark I spent three days adding layers of liquid latex onto the square of Holstebro Town Hall. On the last day, I pulled the layer off and carried the new imprint with me as I was leaving town once again.
